Welcome to the website for Grid North Partners™, a joint initiative of 11 transmission-owning utilities in the Upper Midwest to expand the electricity transmission grid. Utilities include: Central Minnesota Municipal Power Agency, Dairyland Power Cooperative, Great River Energy, Minnesota Power, Minnkota Power Cooperative, Missouri River Energy Services, Otter Tail Power Company, Rochester Public Utilities, Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency, WPPI Energy and Xcel Energy (the Grid North Partners utilities).
To reflect changes in our initiative, the Grid North Partners utilities may occasionally modify this agreement in its sole discretion and without notice to users. Modifications will become effective when posted on this website. Please review this agreement periodically to ensure familiarity with its then-current terms and conditions. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of this agreement; following any modification of this agreement shall constitute acceptance of such modifications.
Users may also be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when using services provided by entities other than the Grid North Partners utilities on this website, or when accessing any services provided by the Grid North Partners utilities from a website other than this one.
Collection of User Information
Providing personal information is not necessary to visit this website. To evaluate and improve this website, our web server automatically collects information used to measure the:

How we protect your data
We protect your user data when you fill out and submit a contact or event registration form by using HTTPS encryption via an SSL certificate.
Contact and event registration forms
Our website uses the Formidable Forms plugin for contact forms and event registration forms. Information is stored for the purpose of keeping a record of our communications with you. We do not use the information submitted through these online forms for marketing purposes. We do not share form submission data with anyone.
Our contact and event registration forms use Honeypot to check entries for spam. Honeypot is a type of invisible spam protection. Normal users won’t be affected by this spam protection. Suspicious submissions will be marked as spam and Formidable Forms will prevent the entry from being submitted.
Embedded content from other websites
We use Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics to gather data on web traffic to our website. Visits are anonymous, i.e. we do not know visitor names, precise locations or IP addresses.
What rights you have over your data
You may ask for a copy of the contact info and comments you have submitted via our contact and event registration forms. If requested, we can purge your personal data from our Formidable Forms database.
